Paul Wright Dancewear

Paul Wright was a senior soloist with the Australian Ballet, he has toured extensively throughout the world as a professional dancer with the Australian Ballet, London’s Festival Ballet, New Zealand Ballet and the Queensland Ballet.

During his professional years as a dancer, Paul gained a wonderful insight into the necessary requirements needed from a dance shoe, and since retiring from the Australian ballet Paul created his company, Dance Pacific, and dedicated his life to making Paul Wright branded shoes utilizing his dance experience and knowledge.  Paul strived to meet the needs of every dancer whether that is for pleasure or in pursuit of a professional career.

When Paul decided it was time to take his final bow and sell his company, he wanted to ensure Dance Pacific and the Paul Wright brands did not retire with him, he set out to find the right person to take the stage.  Paul had built a strong business relationship with Vickie Thomas from Spratz Dancewear, the New Zealand distributor for Paul Wright products, and knew this would be a perfect fit - the company sold in 2006.
